Training – Reactive Dog Class
July 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Reactive Dog Class
6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18th runs for six sessions. Cost: $240
This class is designed to teach dogs and guardians the skills they need to help handle what is often a scary and frustrating experience of reactive behavior. What is reactivity? A “reactive dog” is one that becomes emotionally charged when he or she sees other dogs. Some become extremely excited to the point of even appearing threatening; barking, lunging and straining at the person or animal of their focus. Others become fearful anxious; drooling, barking and trying to get away. Still, others become defensive, barking and lunging but backing up and showing teeth or snapping.
If you think you might have a reactive dog and are interested in enrolling in the upcoming class, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
