When is the Dogtoberfest Virtual Walk Challenge?
The challenge takes place from October 18 – 31, 2020. You can register anytime between now and October 31th, 2020.

What is the Dogtoberfest Virtual Walk Challenge?
The challenge is a virtual event where participants are walking, jogging, or even sauntering to help raise funds and awareness of homeless animals here in Santa Fe and the surrounding areas in New Mexico.

How do I get involved in the Challenge?
All you need to do to get started is to visit this link and click on the “Registration now!” button.  The registration is $25 and lands you a fun Dogtoberfest bandana for you or your pet.  You can also ask your friends and family to sponsor you and earn even more money for homeless pets.

I’ve registered, now what?
Visit www.wooftrax.com to download the app to your smartphone.  Use the app each time you take a walk or run and Share Your Walk to track your walks and mileage during the 2 week challenge.  Just click the “share” icon (blue icon to right of each walk/run in your history), choose the email option, and email to dogwalk@sfhumanesociety.org.   That way we can see your accomplishments and record your miles. The more walks you take and/or the further you walk, the more prizes you become eligible for! 

How will I know where I stand in the prize competitions?
Visit us on Facebook and Instagram for weekly updates on top walkers and fundraisers.  So many ways to win prizes!
