Description: Not everyone has the means to take a puppy class, but anyone can socialize their puppy. If they have an hour to spare, this class can set them up with the basics of how to do it right. The more well socialized the puppies in our community are, the less likely they will end up here at the shelter. And if they do end up at the shelter – the more likely they will be to get adopted out again. People may be interested in this class even if they don’t have a puppy. If they’re just curious, or thinking about whether to get a puppy or an adult dog, this class may be of interest, and potentially help them with their decision. This class will also dispel some misconceptions about fearful, reactive, or aggressive adult dogs. FREE
