All our animals are special, but sometimes we have people who want to help give homeless animals a paw up – so businesses and individuals sponsor the animals through their daily upkeep or their adoption fee. Meet June’s sponsored animals, whose adoption fees are waived through the month:
Samurai, a 5-year-old black/white Labrador retriever mix, is a great dog who loves to play fetch and give kisses. He also loves to sit on laps and go for walks. Samurai is a bit shy, but once he gets to know you he gives you so much love and can change your day.
His adoption fee is being sponsored by Piper and her gang at Back Road Pizza, 1807 Second St., No. 1, 955-9055.
Rebel, a sweet 8-year-old, neutered, is a big handsome fellow who came to us overweight, but has already lost nearly 5 pounds and currently weighs around 15 pounds. He is quite friendly with people but would prosper best in a one-kitty home. He loves to look out the window and see what’s going on. Rebel does not have front claws, so he must be an ‘indoor only’ cat.
Rebel’s adoption fee is being sponsored by an anonymous supporter. Thank you!
