Please join us in a 6 p.m. celebration tonight at Back Road Pizza to toast the winners of the first-ever #DogFriendlySantaFe Instagram photo contest.

The voting period ended at midnight Sunday in the contest highlighting Santa Fe’s dog-friendly places.

More than 225 photos were submitted in the Instagram contest, sponsored by @SimplySantaFeNM, a local Instagram photo sharing company, and the Santa Fe animal shelter. Facebook fans selected the top photos from the 12 finalists. The winners will be announced at 6 p.m. Monday at Back Road Pizza, 1807 Second St.

All finalists receive prizes, but the grand prize receives a two-night stay with a pampered pet package at Hotel Santa Fe, the Hacienda & Spa. Other sponsors include Santa Fe Paws, Peaceful Pet Sitters, Back Road Pizza, and the Eldorado Animal Clinic.
