There will be live pottery demos, libations and music while Paseo Pottery’s teachers strut their stuff on the wheels. Come cheer on your favorite local non-profit and try your hand at the potter’s wheel. While you’re here, sign up for a class and stock up on hand-made local pottery knowing your dollars will go to a great cause.
Details: ($25/person) The Pottery Throw Down will take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. There will be live pottery demos, libations, and music. For the first hour, from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m., we will be hosting a local non-profit who we have invited to bring their team in for a free pottery class. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the non-profit as our way of saying THANK YOU for everything they’re doing to make Santa Fe a better place. Then from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. it will be a free-for-all, and attendees are welcome to grab any open wheel to try their hand at making pottery with the help of our volunteers. At the end of the evening, any pottery pieces that are deemed worthy will be glazed, fired, and sold in our gallery, going toward our charitable mission.
