  • Lead Resale Store Sales Associate

    The Lead Resale Store Sales Associate is the Supervisor on duty at our resale store, The Cat Santa Fe, and primarily oversees the opening and closing of the store, ensures proper cash/change to open the store, completes the deposit after the store closes, ensures the alarm is set correctly and working, handles customer complaints/concerns throughout the day, trains new staff and ensures employees get designated breaks throughout the day.   • Truck Assistant/Sales Associate at Cat South

    The Cat Truck Assistant’s is responsible for executing the pick-up of merchandise for the shelter, delivering merchandise in some instances, unloading and setting up furniture and large items on the floor of both stores. Heavy interaction with shelter/store donors and store employees and management. 25% of time: The Resale Store Sales Associate is responsible for sorting donations and maintaining high quality inventory, customer service, and cashiering.   • Resale Store Sales Associate

    The Cat Santa Fe, Santa Fe’s premier resale store, is looking to fill part-time and full-time sales associate positions. Individuals must maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism to customers at all times. Have an understanding of pricing in terms of the current market value of items in the store and knowledge of trends and styles- ie. vintage vs. old, as well as, have extensive knowledge of brands in regards to quality, designer, price, location. Individuals must be capable of carrying up to 50 pounds, be self-motivated, have a team player attitude, stand for long periods at a time, and must love animals.   • Behavior Team Member

    Behavior Team Members are responsible for supporting and maintaining the physical and psychological well-being of the animals in the custody and care of the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. With the goal of providing exceptional humane care for our animals, a Behavior Team Member is responsible for performing the following duties, including but not limited to: running playgroups, walking dogs of all sizes and strengths, performing behavior assessments on cats and dogs, implementing behavior modification training plans, assist the public with questions they may have about behavior problems with their dogs or cats, take animals to offsite events and represent the shelter in a professional manner at other shelter events. In addition, this role involves acting as a liaison between the behavior department and other shelter departments and its volunteers.   • Payroll and Finance Associate

    The Payroll and Finance Associate’s responsibility is to work closely with the Director of Finance and HR Director in maintaining the Shelter’s financial, payroll and personnel records. This person is responsible for managing the Shelter’s biweekly and year-end payroll preparation for 100 plus employees and related duties including setting up employees in timekeeping and payroll systems, payroll taxes and other payroll reporting requirements including ACA compliance reports, 401(k) maintenance and maintaining personnel files and payroll support documentation, run various Paylocity reports when requested, review quarterly payroll reports, ensure payroll system (Paylocity) is utilized to capacity, etc. If you are interested in this position, please email a current resume to kkelly@sfhumanesociety.org.   • Compassion Services Technician

    This individual will provide compassionate aftercare pet services for guardians, veterinary hospitals, veterinary clinics and shelter animals. Processing private cremations for grieving guardians as well as SFAS and other agencies.
