Why Volunteer
Volunteering is about giving, but it is also about finding your own fulfillment through doing what you know you’re good at, or through learning something new. Santa Fe Animal Shelter has over 30 volunteer roles that span across every department including main campus services, offsite locations including our Spay & Neuter Wellness Clinic and our two resale stores The Cat, and opportunities within the greater Santa Fe community.
Become a Volunteer
- As a volunteer at Santa Fe Animal Shelter, you will be part of a progressive community with a drive to treat animals with the highest quality of care available.
- For organizations, groups, or one time volunteer opportunities, please email volunteer@sfhumanesociety.org for more information.
- No volunteer opportunities for kids under 13 years of age.
- Kids 13 – 15 can volunteer but must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Kids 16 and older can volunteer/take classes solo.
- Tell the world you’re committed to animals in need and get recognized at the shelter as a volunteer with official Santa Fe Animal Shelter Volunteer Merchandise.
